Lake Pleasant Fishing report.

Large mouth bass: The bass are from surface to 60 feet of water. The bass are moving in the staging positions ready to spawn. For surface, use zara spooks and poppers. Mid running baits use crank and jerk baits. Deep fishing use jigging spoons, dropshot and jigs. Use any of your favorite plastics on carolina, texas, or drop shot rigs. For live baits use shad, waterdogs or minnows.

White Bass and Stripped Bass: from surface to 125 feet. Small swim baits, jerk baits and surface baits. The best baits to use are live shad, anchovies and waterdogs.

Crappie: from 10 to 40 feet deep near the channels going into pre-spawn patterns. Spawning will take place in the near future. Minnows are best and small crappie jiggs.

Cat Fish: from 5 to 30 feet deep, located in the channels moving to the shallower water. Stink baits, chicken liver, shrimp, gulp baits or your favorite home made stink bait.

Remember stay hydrated and drink plenty of water all year. Beer will make you dehydrated, even one beer is one beer too many during any outing in Arizona.
